The Oklahoma men’s basketball team owns Bedlam again.
The Sooners knocked off Oklahoma State, a team on the cusp of the Top 25, on Saturday in Oklahoma City, 85-76. A 19-8 run midway through the second half turned the game from a two-point OSU edge into a nine-point Sooners advantage and OU never looked back.

That run began with a 7-0 stretch when Xzayvier Brown tied the game at 53 with 10:57 left in the game. A Mohamed Wague, a Tae Davis lay-up and two free throws from Dayton Forsythe all came Oklahoma’s way before OSU managed a single point. By the time Vyctorius Miller made a 3-pointer to stop the bleeding, the Sooners still led.
Oklahoma State, which was ranked a de facto No. 27 in the Associated Press Poll, never could make a final push. Neither team made more than one consecutive field goal without the other team scoring over the final 7:34 of the game.
Brown finished with a team-high 21 points for the Sooners while Nijel Pack added 18 more. Four players finished in double figures for OSU, led by Kanye Clary’s 18 points.
The win was Oklahoma’s fourth straight in the series, though the Cowboys had won the three games before that.
