The Oklahoma Sooners picked up a big win on the recruiting trail when they earned a commitment from 2026 five-star defensive end Jake Kreul. The Sooners beat out the Texas Longhorns and Ole Miss Rebels for the IMG Academy product.
In IMG’s 2025 debut, Kreul put on a show with four sacks on Thursday night. Three of which came on one possession and ended a First Academy drive.

Kreul is a monster as a pass rusher with a motor that doesn’t quit. His technique is elite and even gave some of the best offensive tackles in the country fits at camps this summer.
He’s a five-star prospect according to ESPN and the No. 22 player in the class. Though just a four-star prospect according to Rivals and 247Sports, Kreul could end up as a five-star player in the class by the time the early signing period hits.
Here are a couple of highlights from his impressive senior season debut.
