The Oklahoma Sooners are one of the more exciting teams to watch in women’s basketball, and they have one of the best players in the game leading the way once again in 2025-2026. Forward Raegan Beers was a preseason All-SEC first team selection on Monday ahead of the 2025-2026 season.
Beers, who transferred to Oklahoma from Oregon State prior to the 2024-2025 season, was excellent in year one with the Sooners, leading OU in scoring and rebounding. Beers helped the Sooners finish fourth in the SEC regular season standings and propelled Oklahoma to its first Sweet 16 appearance under coach Jennie Baranczyk.

She averaged 17.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game for the Sooners last season, where she earned consensus All-American honorable mention honors.
This season, Beers is joined by key returning players like Peyton Verhulst, Zya Vann, and Sahara Williams. The Sooners also welcome the No. 1 player in the 2025 recruiting class, Aliyah Chavez to Norman.
The Sooners open the regular season against Belmont on Monday, Nov. 3.
