The Oklahoma Sooners went 2-2 over the last eight days, beating Florida and No. 23 Alabama to bounce back from losses to Vanderbilt and Texas. The Sooners are 19-6 and 7-5 in SEC play. In this week’s AP Poll, the Sooners fell one spot to No. 11.
They’ve struggled against top-5 opponents, going 1-6 on the season. Their one win was an upset overtime victory over South Carolina at home weeks ago.

But Oklahoma is still in a strong position to enter the NCAA tournament as a host team. With four games to go in the regular season, Oklahoma has opportunities against No. 24 Georgia and No. 21 Tennessee this week before closing the season with Arkansas and at Missouri.
The top five teams in the nation feel pretty well locked in at this point, as there hasn’t been a change in some time. UConn is the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation once again, followed by UCLA, South Carolina, Texas, and Vanderbilt.
