Omos Makes Surprise WWE Return at NXT Live Event

by

Omos is officially back in the ring after being away from WWE action. “The Nigerian Giant” showed up at the NXT live event in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday night, wrestling his first match since April 2024.

He confronted Lexis King during the show and made quick work of him in decisive fashion. King demanded an immediate rematch, only to be put down just as easily a second time. WWE later shared footage of the surprise return, giving fans their first look at Omos in action in nearly half a year.

His last WWE appearance was during the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania weekend. Since then, Omos has been active overseas, competing in Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan and AAA in Mexico—experiences that insiders say helped him refine his ring presence and sharpen his work.

Right now, WWE hasn’t confirmed when Omos will return to television, but his NXT appearance signals the company may be preparing a major reintroduction for the towering star.

Should Omos be brought back as a monster heel on Raw or SmackDown, or is NXT the right place to rebuild his momentum? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.
