The Ducks announced Sept. 2 they will play Gonzaga at Moda Center in Portland on Dec. 21, with game time and broadcast information coming at a later date.

It’ll mark just the second time the two Pacific Northwest programs have played each other since 2000, with the last matchup coming in 2019 at the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in The Bahamas. The Bulldogs won that game 73-72 in overtime.

Oregon’s Kwame Evans Jr. (10) celebrates with teammate Nate Bittle after a play against the Arizona Wildcats during the first half in the second round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Climate Pledge Arena on March 23 in Seattle.

“This is a good nonconference game for our fans, especially for those in the Portland area,” Oregon coach Dana Altman said in a statement released by the school. “Playing in the home of the Trail Blazers is always special and we look forward to this matchup with Gonzaga.”

Oregon hasn’t announced its full schedule yet for the 2025-26 season, but it has confirmed it will return to Las Vegas in November for the Players Era Men’s Championship tournament at Michelob ULTRA Arena.
