Oumar Sy grounds and pounds his way to Round 1 TKO

Oumar Sy (12-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) smashed Brendson Ribeiro (17-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC) with ground and pound to score the TKO at the 4:42 mark of Round 1 in their light heavyweight bout Saturday at Accor Arena in Paris.

Sy rebounded from his first-career loss to Alonzo Menifield with another first-round finish. The 29-year-old called for a second shot at a top 15 opponent.
