Paige Bueckers Off-Court News Announced After First WNBA Season

Paige Bueckers impressed in her first season in the WNBA en route to winning Rookie of the Year. While the Dallas Wings struggled and finished with a league-worst 10-34 record, Bueckers was a bright spot as she averaged 19.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Bueckers also set several records, including the highest scoring mark by a rookie in a single game. She achieved the feat with a 44-point performance against the Los Angeles Sparks during a game on Aug. 20, 2025.

The Wings guard was the fastest rookie to reach 500 points and 100 rebounds and was the only rookie ever to average at least 15.0 points and 5.0 assists while shooting 45% or better in a season.

Now, amid the WNBA offseason, Bueckers is playing in the 3-on-3 women’s basketball league Unrivaled. Bueckers, who plays for Breeze BC in the tournament, leads in assists with 6.8 and is third in scoring with 23.4 points per game.

Bueckers is not only focused on basketball, though. In fact, she has an upcoming guest appearance.

On Wednesday, Kylie Kelce’s “Not Gonna Lie” podcast announced that the Wings superstar will appear in the upcoming episode of the show that is set to drop on Thursday. The Instagram account of the show posted a clip from the interview, showing Bueckers explaining why she thinks being the oldest is the best.
