Peace Treaty Segment Results In Heatwave Match During 8/19 WWE NXT

by

The peace treaty didn’t work out.

The August 19 episode of WWE NXT went down at The Met in Philly. This night also included a bit of diplomacy.

Chelsea Green and All Ego Ethan Page made their way out for a peace treaty segment with Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Hughes. The segment got started with the Secret Hervice taking the table out of the middle of the ring.

When the babyfaces made their way to the ring, Ethan Page made it clear that Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Hughes are still new to pro wrestling. They aren’t Olympians in NXT, and there is no silver medal in pro wrestling.

Ethan Page wrapped things up by saying that he’s the one holding gold, but then Tavion Hughes cut him off. He made a point to talk about how many people counted him out over the years, but he put them on their backs.

Chelsea Green followed this up by stating that Americans are rude. The Canadians want to represent mountains and fresh air, because they are the superior country. Tyra Mae Steele then told Green to shut her mouth. Tyra took exception to Chelsea saying her gold medal is fake, which she had around her neck. Tyra then said that her medal means she can take her down at any time.

Tavion Hughes brought up how they are in Philly. Then everyone got on their feet as Ethan Page yelled at him. Suddenly, Ava came out to book a match for Heatwave between the two sides in a mixed tag team match. The babyfaces caught the heels in ankle locks to end the segment.

We will have to see where this leads, but the two sides certainly seem to have a beef to settle. This peace treaty didn’t end too peacefully, and that’s an understatement. WWE NXT Heatwave will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts.
