The Pitt men’s basketball team has finalized its 2025-26 non-conference schedule that will feature six power conference opponents.
On Tuesday, Pitt announced it will play a total of 13 non-conference games to go along with an 18-game Atlantic Coast Conference slate. Pitt opens the season with Youngstown State on Nov. 3
The Panthers have marquee home matchups with Ohio State (Nov. 28) and Texas A&M (Dec. 2), which marks the ACC/SEC Challenge matchup.
Pitt will travel to Morgantown for an early-season Backyard Brawl against West Virginia on Nov. 13. Other power conference games include UCF (Nov. 20 in the Legends Classic at Daytona Beach, along with the renewal of an old Big East matchup at Villanova (Dec. 13) and another in-state test against Penn State (Dec. 21) at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa.

Pitt will also face Providence in an exhibition game at the Petersen Events Center on Oct. 19. The Panthers will have another exhibition game that is still to be determined.
