The Phoenix Mercury’s regular season has reached its final two games.

The Mercury will host the final home game on Tuesday, Sept. 9, against the Los Angeles Sparks. The Mercury are 3-0 in their meetings with the Sparks, winning the last meeting, 92-84, in Los Angeles.

The Sparks have been in playoff contention, partly due to Kelsey Plum’s play this season. Plum leads the team, scoring right around 20 points per game. Dearica Hamby and Azura Stevens have been dominant on the glass as well, each grabbing about eight rebounds per game.

The game will be shown locally on Arizona’s Family Sports and nationally on NBA TV at 7 p.m. MST.

The Mercury will close the regular season in Dallas against the Wings on Thursday, Sept. 11.

The Wings have long been eliminated from the playoffs and have been depleted by injuries. Rookie Paige Bueckers has been the bright spot all season, leading all rookies with 18.9 points and 5.3 assists per game entering the Wings’ Sept. 4 game at Golden State.

Bueckers was named Rookie of the Month for August after she averaged 20.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.
