Popular Big Ten podcast host picks winner of Michigan State-Boston College

A popular Big Ten-centric podcast likes the Spartans to win a critical non-conference matchup this week against Boston College.

The Big Ten Huddle podcast is back again this week with their score predictions for each Big Ten game on the schedule, which, of course, includes Michigan State vs. Boston College. The Spartans will be hosting the Eagles in a return game of a home-and-home on Saturday night.

So how does Jon “JR” Rhoades of The Big Ten Huddle podcast see this matchup between the Spartans and Eagles playing out? Well, he has the Spartans coming out on top in a one-possession game. Per a post from the podcast’s social media X account, Rhoades likes the Spartans to beat the Eagles by the final score of 27-20.

Boston College got the best of the Spartans in a nail-bitter last year, and this game is projected to once again be a close game. The Spartans are a narrow 3.5-point favorite over the Eagles at the timing of this post.
