As the new LIV Golf season begins, excitement is at its peak, and fans are looking forward to what's to come. Many quality LIV golfers want to dominate 14 tournaments in 10 countries on 5 continents, and one of them is experienced Ian Poulter, a 50-year-old golfer.
Poulter wants to perform both at the Ryder Cup and at other tournaments, and in an interview with TNT Sports, he shared his impressions.
Ian Poulter points out that he enjoys playing golf and that he really hopes for success in the future.
LIV has made many changes, and a few days ago it was confirmed that the top 10 LIV golfers will be awarded with ranking points.
The 50-year-old is also aware of the departures of Brooks Koepka and Patrick Reed, feeling that it can be a turning point for LIV Golf.
"Life's good," Poulter said.
"This product's great. Fourteen international tournaments and I'm still playing competitive golf, which is great.
Obviously, I'd love to have some involvement at the Ryder Cup, so from the perspective of wanting to have a helping hand in something I've been a big part of over the last two decades, it would be a dream come true if we could be in that position."
Ian Poulter is optimistic
He emphasizes that they had a difficult month, but that they have great hope and faith that the LIV Golf CEO, as well as other key people, will do everything to make this product stronger and continue to grow in the future.
"It's great," Poulter added. "Obviously, it's been a difficult month and a couple of guys have moved on.
That's totally OK. In terms of the big talking point of what that means for LIV Golf, speaking to His Excellency today, there's a structure and a plan in place to drive this thing all the way through 2032 which is amazing."
