Texas and Ohio State could be facing off in a No. 1 vs. No. 2 game later this month. The Longhorns and the Buckeyes are set to meet in Columbus on Saturday, Aug. 30. The game will air live on FOX at 12 p.m. E.T. ESPN’s “College GameDay” is set to air live from the contest, too.
The two power programs met in the College Football Playoff last year, with Ohio State taking down Texas in the Cotton Bowl. The Buckeyes got the best of Steve Sarkisian’s program, advancing to the national title game, where they took down Notre Dame.
