The Big Ten Conference announced its weekly swimming and diving honors.
Big Ten Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Blake Rowe, Purdue
So. – Traverse City, Mich.
- Became the first Boilermaker to post an NCAA Championship qualifying time this season, doing so while winning the 200 back in a lifetime best time of 1:41.95 as Purdue swept the triple dual vs. Cincinnati and Oakland
- Also won the 100 fly, winning the event for the first time at an NCAA meet
- Helped the 400 medley relay team win in a pool record time of 3:10.38, which was also the eighth-fastest time in school history. His leadoff leg time of 47.52 was just .05 seconds off his lifetime best in the 100 back
- Collects second Swimmer of the Week honor of the season

Big Ten Diver of the Week
Max Miller, Purdue
Jr. – Conroe, Texas
- Set a pool record at the Oakland Aquatic Center and led a 1-2-3-4-5 finish for Purdue with a team season-best list score of 427.50 on 1-meter, winning the event by 54.65 points
- With Miller taking third with a score of 325.15, Purdue also went 2-3-4 on 3-meter, as Purdue swept Oakland and Cincinnati in the two-day triple dual
- Posted NCAA Zone Qualifying scores in both events

Big Ten Freshman of the Week
Biko Hooper-Haviland, Purdue
Chicago, Ill.
- Eclipsed the Purdue freshman record in the 200 fly while leading a 1-2-3 finish for the Boilermakers in the two-day dual vs. Oakland and Cincinnati
- Took down the freshman record that had stood since the 2011 Big Ten Championships with a time of 1:45.84, also the ninth fastest time in the 200 fly in school history
- Also touched third in the 500 free (4:31.71) and finished fourth in the 200 free (1:39.09)

So. – Greenwood, Ind.
- Swept individual events as Purdue topped Cincinnati and Oakland in a two-day triple dual in Rochester, Mich.
- Earned victories in the 100 fly with a time of 53.86 and won the 100 free in a time of 49.26
- Phipps’ lifetime bests in the 100 fly and 100 free were both top 10 times in school history
- Helped Purdue win three relay events with the 400 free relay team breaking the pool record at the Oakland Aquatic Center with a time of 3:18.43

Big Ten Diver of the Week
Elna Widerstrom, Minnesota
Jr. – Lund, Sweden
- Helped lead Minnesota to a 190-109 victory over Iowa
- Finished first on 1-meter with a score of 330.10 and finished first on 3-meter with a score of 342.40

Big Ten Freshman of the Week
Payton Flowers, Iowa
DeForest, Wis.
- Won two individual events against Minnesota
- Touched first in the 50 free with a time of 23.02, the ninth-fastest time in school history
- Finished first in the 100 fly with a time of 54.20, the eighth-fastest time in program history
- Helped the 200 medley relay team collect a season-best time of 1:42.38 and was on the 200 free relay team that finished second in a time of 1:33.48
