The Kentucky Wildcats are back at practice as Monday marked the first day of official practice across college basketball. There is plenty to be excited about as the roster is stacked with plenty of talent, but it appears this team is really buying in to what it means to play for UK and push for title No. 9.
Why is that? Not only does Mark Pope preach about its importance, but he also is bringing in some former players to share that same message.

A few weeks ago, the team got to hear from Karl-Anthony Towns. Now, they get to hear from former NBA superstar point guard and NBA Champion, Rajon Rondo.
Rondo, a Kentuckian himself, had a solid UK career that led to an even more impressive career in the NBA. If anyone can speak to what it means to have success at both levels, it’s him.
You gotta love seeing these players keep coming back.
