Rangers defenseman Fox back in lineup after month

New York Rangers defenseman Adam Fox is back in the lineup Wednesday against the Capitals after missing a month with an upper-body injury.

Fox had been on long-term injured reserve after being checked into the boards against the Lightning on Oct. 29. He appeared to be favoring his left arm as he left the ice.

When he went down, Fox was tied with Artemi Panarin for the team lead in points with three goals and 23 assists in 27 games.

To make room on the roster, the Rangers sent promising young defenseman Scott Morrow to Hartford of the AHL.
