Raul Rosas Jr. will step up into the echelon of ranked competition when he fights Rob Font at UFC Fight Night 259 on Sept. 13 in San Antonio.
Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie, and the promotion officially announced the matchup Wednesday.
Rosas (11-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) is on a four-fight winning streak since his defeat against Christian Rodriguez in April 2023. He’s defeated Terrence Mitchell, Ricky Turcios, Qileng Aori, and Vince Morales.
Since losing four of five, Font (22-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC) has won back-to-back fights against Kyler Phillips and Jean Matsumoto.
