ESPN “College GameDay” host Rece Davis released his AP vote before Week 5 after a few changes to the top 25. The Georgia Bulldogs stay the same from Week 4, sticking at the No. 4 spot in his balot.
The Bulldogs were on a bye and their win against the No. 15 Tennessee Volunteers is still holding a lot of merit in Davis’ rankings. The No. 17 Alabama Crimson Tide will put up a good fight against Georgia in Week 5. They’ve performed well after suffering a brutal 31-17 loss to the No. 8 Florida State Seminoles.

There is a lot on the line for Georgia. Kirby Smart is just 1-6 against Alabama all time, but the Bulldogs have a 33-game winning-streak at home.
This week, there were no changes to Rece Davis’ top 10, but last week, the Texas A&M Aggies soared up to No. 6 after their 41-40 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who are still ranked at No. 21.
Davis still rates the Penn State Nittany Lions below many voters, at No. 8, despite the AP Poll ranking Penn State at No. 3. The Nittany Lions will get a big test against the No. 6 Oregon Ducks at 7:30 p.m. ET, and Davis, along with the rest of College GameDay, will be at Penn State on Saturday.
