One of the officials in the Texas Tech football game exited the field on a cart Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium after getting hurt during a running play.
The incident occurred with 6:46 left in the second quarter and the Red Raiders leading 37-0. J’Koby Williams took a run up the middle and was brought down by Arkansas-Pine Bluff Ja’il Johnson, whose legs swung into the referee on the play.

The official stayed on the turf for several minutes before being carted off. Texas Tech added a field goal on the drive to go up 40-0.
