In the mass shooting on Bondi Beach, attackers killed 15 people during the Hanukkah event. The police characterized this as a terrorist attack on the Jewish community in Sydney.
Rennae Stubbs could not remain indifferent to the various headlines and comments from people on social media. One post caused a particular reaction – the user claimed that Australian citizens are unable to defend themselves due to the limited number of licensed gun owners in the country.
Rennae couldn't remain silent, believing that the consequences of a similar incident in America would be much greater.
"Shut up you f***** p****! If this was in America it would have been a semi automatic that would have killed 100! *** *** with your stupid comments about a great country," Rennae Stubbs wrote.

It is important to point out that one of the shooters was stopped by a Muslim man. This further confirmed that every community consists of good and bad people.
Ultimately, Rennae explained in a post that we shouldn't point fingers when events like this happen and we shouldn't blame the whole community, given that there are hateful people in every community. She believes that peace should be what drives us and what will ultimately bring stability to the world.
"This is truly what Australia is about," Rennae Stubbs wrote. "This woman is Australian, she’s not going to blame an entire community, the hero that stop one of the gunman was also Muslim! Jews are being slaughtered by people that hate them! Muslims are being slaughtered by people who hate them! STOP THE ********* HATE! Period! Especially in Australia! We are better than this! ***."
