NASCAR podcast: Previewing the Coke Zero Sugar 400 race at Daytona
The guys break down race week at Daytona International Speedway. How does the NASCAR playoff picture look? Who needs to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400?
DAYTONA BEACH — The Wawa 250 took a while to get going.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series race started late after a rain delay at Daytona International Speedway and then encountered a red flag during the first stage because of more bad weather. But once it got rolling, it delivered.
Parker Kligerman sped to Victory Lane in something that sounds impossible.
Kligerman didn’t even start the race. He stepped into the No. 88 for the injured Connor Zilisch on Lap 13 and persevered during an overtime restart. Kligerman led 12 total laps.
Justin Allgaier and Sammy Smith followed him to the stripe to round out the top three.
