Ric Flair’s Story About Hulk Hogan’s Final Days Doesn’t Line Up with His Own Words

Ric Flair is now facing questions after telling two very different stories about when he last spoke to Hulk Hogan before his death. While he recently claimed he talked to Hogan “the day before” he passed, an earlier interview paints a different picture—and fans aren’t letting it slide.

On an episode of the Glory Daze podcast with Johnny Manziel, Flair said he had just spoken to Hogan 24 hours before the wrestling icon died.

“Well, I talked to him the day before and he was fine. Now the whole thing is breaking down, they think that he was taking illegal prescriptions or the doctor was overprescribing. I mean, you never know what to believe anymore. So, I’m just I’m not quoting what I know for a fact, I’m just telling you that if you google Hogan, his daughter is upset, the family is divided. Nothing worse.”

But in a separate interview with Ariel Helwani—recorded on the actual day Hogan died—Flair said the last time he spoke with him was two weeks earlier.

“FaceTime two weeks ago. And he was okay. I was just trying to help him make the right decision on a financial deal… it’s one of the few times that he didn’t listen to me.”

The discrepancy has fans calling out the conflicting timeline. While emotions often run high after losing a close friend, some are questioning why Flair’s account changed so drastically in just a matter of days.

Flair had also made claims on Glory Daze about Hogan’s medical condition, saying he shouldn’t have been undergoing surgery due to leukemia—though no official medical records have confirmed that diagnosis or timeline.

With Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, reportedly preparing to sue for medical malpractice, Flair’s evolving story only adds more confusion to an already sensitive situation.

Do you think Ric Flair simply misspoke out of emotion, or is there something deeper going on? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
