Richaun Holmes is partially guaranteed $250,000 out of his $13.28 million contract with the Washington Wizards for next season, sources told Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.
By trading for Malaki Branham and Blake Wesley on Tuesday, the Wizards are now over their roster limit.
The structure of Holmes’ deal makes him suited to be waived or traded to make room on the roster.
Holmes averaged 7.4 points and 5.7 rebounds last season.
