Ricochet might be done with WWE, but he’s already trying to make big moves in AEW — and now he’s calling on a fellow Toronto icon to show up at one of the company’s biggest shows of the year.
The former WWE star took to Twitter and dropped a message directly to Drake, offering the rapper complimentary tickets to AEW All Out, which goes down September 20 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
“Hey @Drake crodie, we gonna be in Toronto in Sept. I can pull some strings and get you some comp ticks, my guy. Pop up!” Ricochet wrote.
The show is already seeing solid ticket sales, but Ricochet’s offer could draw even more eyes — especially if the 6 God decides to make an appearance. Drake’s no stranger to wrestling events either. He was spotted earlier this year at WWE’s Elimination Chamber event at the Rogers Center, proving he’s got love for the sport.
With AEW’s Toronto presence growing and Ricochet now in the mix, a potential link-up with Drake would definitely turn heads. Whether it happens or not, fans are already hyped about the idea.
