N’Faly Dante has signed a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the Atlanta Hawks as the Houston Rockets have declined to match the offer sheet. Dante was a restricted free agent after the Rockets tendered a qualifying offer.
Dante appeared in four games last season with the Rockets, averaging 6.0 points and 5.2 rebounds in 12.7 minutes.
In 42 G League games, Dante averaged 15.0 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 26.8 minutes.
Dante also averaged 6.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15.8 minutes across three Summer League games with the Rockets.
