India’s senior opener Rohit Sharma has dethroned the New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell to reclaim his position in the ICC ODI Batting Rankings ahead of the three-match ODI series against South Africa, starting on November 30 in Ranchi.
Rohit Sharma has yet again become the world’s number one batter in the updated ICC ODI Batting Rankings shared by the body on Wednesday, November 26. Hitman’s stunning performance in India’s last ODI series in Australia helped him to return to the top in the rankings.

The former Indian captain made the one spot’s gain and jumped to the number one spot with 781 rating points. Actually, Daryl Mitchell missed the last two ODIs against the West Indies, due to which the Kiwi star lost rating points, allowing Rohit Sharma to take the number one spot.

West Indies’ Shai Hope also broke into the Top 10 at the latest ICC ODI Batting Rankings following his stunning century against the New Zealand side in the recent ODI series. With two spots gained, Hope jumped to the 8th spot with 701 rating points—the second-best career rating.

However, Rachin Ravindra moved to 12th, while Devon Conway surged 11 spots to 31st in the ICC ODI Batting Rankings. The New Zealand bowlers also made big strides, with Mitchell Santner climbing to sixth and Matt Henry joining the top 10 after their 3-0 sweep over the West Indies.
Sikandar Raza becomes No.1 T20I All-Rounder at 39
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s T20I captain and star all-rounder Sikandar Raza has reached a career milestone by becoming the No. 1 ranked T20I all-rounder for the first time. The 39-year-old has been in outstanding form with both bat and ball.
Raza’s recent efforts in the T20I Tri-Series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan helped him move past Pakistan’s Saim Ayub to claim the top spot. Raza has been among the top 10 T20I all-rounders since the 2022 T20 World Cup. He was also named the No. 1 ODI all-rounder in September and is currently the world’s second-best all-rounder in the format.
Well, Saim Ayub has dropped to second in the ICC T20 All-Rounders Ranking, while Mohammad Nawaz moved up to seventh after impressing in the T20I Tri-Series. Another Pakistani, Sahibzada Farhan, jumped to fourth among T20I batters, and Babar Azam moved to 29th after a recent half-century in the T20I Tri-Series.

Travis Head climbs to sixth, Mitchell Starc jumps to fifth in ICC Test Rankings after Perth Test heroics
In the latest ICC Test Rankings, Australian batter Travis Head jumped to the sixth spot after hitting a match-winning century against England in the first Ashes Test, while Ollie Pope jumped to the 24th spot with a four-place gain.
Mushfiqur Rahim moved to the 30th spot with a seven-place gain, and Litton Das and Mominul Haque both made an eight-place gain and reached the 37th and 46th spots. Mitchell Starc’s 10-wicket haul in Perth against England pushed him up to fifth in the Test bowling rankings.
Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam also climbed to 15th after leading their attack in the 2-0 Test series win over Ireland. Islam was Player of the Series for taking 13 wickets in 2 games.
On the other hand, England captain and star all-rounder Ben Stokes made one spot’s game and became the second-ranked Test all-rounder in the world, with Ravindra Jadeja remaining at the number one spot with his impressive show against South Africa.
