Former India players RP Singh and Pragyan Ojha are likely to be included in the selection committee headed by Ajit Agarkar. Notably, the Board of Control for Cricket in India senior officials and key decision-makers met informally in Delhi on Saturday to finalize candidates for several vacancies on the board.
The BCCI is set to hold the Annual General Meeting in Mumbai on September 28. Several top positions, including the president’s post, will be decided during the meeting. Former Delhi captain Mithun Manhas has become the frontrunner to take over as president of the board, following Roger Binny’s resignation.
