Anna Blinkova, a tennis player known among tennis fans, talked about her talents in an interview. What the public doesn't know is that the Russian tennis player speaks as many as seven languages, which makes her comparable to some top tennis players like Novak Djokovic, who is also a polyglot.
Blinkova spoke about her ambitions, desires and passions in one of the interviews.
The 27-year-old tennis player had an unpredictable season, filled with ups and downs, but in the end, she was able to draw something positive after the season ended.

Her native language is Russian, but she knows several other languages and is constantly striving to learn new ones. She used the COVID period to understand what her greatest passions are and what she strives for in life. Blinkova now strives to travel, take photos and meet new people, stating that this is her biggest passion after tennis.
“My mother language is Russian,” Blinkova said, as quoted by Rothenberg, as quoted by Tennis Up To Date.
“I speak English, French, Slovakian fluently. I speak Spanish and Italian intermediate, which means that I can talk about simple topics, and I can have conversations. And I am currently learning Chinese; I speak the basics of Chinese.
To be honest, this understanding came to me during Covid. I just realized how stupid I was to not use this opportunity to see the world. Now, I really try to visit places, take pictures, talk to new people.”

The tennis player also has her second Instagram profile, Blinkova Travel, where she shares pictures from her travels. She recognized early on how important language knowledge is in life, because it opens many doors and enriches life.
It seems that many tennis players will follow her example, given that knowing the language facilitates communication, enables meeting new people and gaining new experiences.
