Rutgers’ stretch from November 24th against Tennessee in the players era tournament to December 6th at Michigan is very brutal, as they will play a few expected top 25 teams in that span. On the flip side, there is no real “light” section of the Big Ten schedule for Rutgers this year, especially considering what the expectations are for this team.

Rutgers’ home and home opponents are Michigan State, Penn State, and Maryland. The end of Rutgers’ schedule is filled with the second half of these matchups.
Rutgers will only have to make the West Coast trip once, not including the Players’ Era Tournament, as both of their California games are back-to-back, and they play Oregon and Washington at home.
The Big Ten Network also announced that the Big Ten’s Men’s Basketball tournament will be expanding from 15 teams to 18 teams, while the Women’s tournament will remain at 15 teams. These changes were voted on by the coaches in the conference, according to BTN.
