Saraya isn’t here for the Sydney Sweeney slander.
During the Rule Breakers podcast, the former AEW star jumped in to shut down the outrage aimed at the Euphoria actress, especially after Sweeney’s recent American Eagle ad stirred controversy. While some critics accused the ad’s “genes” pun of being racially insensitive, Saraya made it clear that Sweeney’s success comes from knowing her worth—and playing the game right.
Instead of focusing on the ad itself, Saraya pivoted the conversation to how Sydney uses her appearance to fuel a successful career, and why she sees absolutely nothing wrong with it.
“I don’t understand why people could get mad about her using her beauty. Like, this is the American Eagle conversation to the side… she recently spoke about how, you know, as a female, and if you’re beautiful and all that kind of stuff—use it. Use the assets you have. And people were so mad about that.”
She pointed out the hypocrisy in how people applaud creators on platforms like OnlyFans but bash Sweeney for being sexy in mainstream media.
“There’s millions of women out there and men doing OnlyFans and all that kind of stuff—selling like sex sells, right? It always has.”
Then Saraya dropped the line that turned heads—and proved she wasn’t here to sugarcoat it.
“Everyone’s so supportive of OnlyFans girls—like, hey, get your bag, get your bag. And all she’s doing—she’s not freaking selling her asshole or anything like that.”
According to Saraya, Sydney’s doing it right—and the hate just sounds like jealousy.
“She’s a hot chick and obviously—it’s not hindering her career. It’s making her bigger.”
Saraya’s unapologetic stance drew a clear line: if society wants to support sex-positive careers, that support shouldn’t turn into hate the moment someone like Sydney Sweeney plays by her own rules. She’s not doing porn. She’s not on subscription platforms. She’s just beautiful, smart, and cashing checks.
