The Tigers will have the 2nd most returning production percentage in the conference – led by senior forward Mark Mitchell and junior guard Anthony Robinson II. Mitchell was named a preseason 3rd team All-SEC member and Robinson has the potential to be one of the best guards in the conference after an impressive sophomore campaign.
With the 1-2 punch of Mitchell and Robinson – Mizzou looks poised to be an NCAA Tournament team again.
Per ESPN, Robinson (93rd) and Mitchell (49th) come in ranked among the Top 100 players in college basketball this season.
Though, the biggest question on this team will be replacing the production and leadership of Tamar Bates and Caleb Grill. In what wasn’t as highly rated of a transfer portal class than last season – UCLA transfer guard Sebastian Mack seems to be the headliner. Can he add a much-needed scoring punch as the third go-to guy for Mizzou?
