Mike Schloesser has returned to the top of the compound men’s world rankings following World Archery’s monthly ranking updates.
After his second-place finish at the recent Nimes Archery Tournament, ‘Mister Perfect’ joins – rather than overtakes – Gwangju 2025 Hyundai World Archery Championships and Nanjing 2025 Hyundai Archery World Cup Final silver medallist Mathias Fullerton at the summit of the category.
Both archers now sit as world number one in compound men on 402 points.
Schloesser previously held the top ranking outright for four years, before Denmark’s Fullerton overtook the Dutchman last September following his victory at the European Field Championships.
There was also a change in recurve men, where Nimes bronze medallist Marcus D’Almeida swapped places with all-time great Brady Ellison to move from world number two to number one.
The top spots in compound women and recurve women remain unchanged, Andrea Becerra and Kang Chaeyoung respectively.
