AMES – The Iowa State women’s basketball team not only stayed in the Top 10 of the latest Associated Press poll but stayed in the exact same spot.
The Cyclones stayed at No. 10 in the latest poll released on Dec. 8. Iowa State was previously ranked at the spot the week before.

Iowa State didn’t have much of an opportunity to move up in the poll after playing just one game last week. That turned into a dominating 105-52 win over Northern Illinois on Dec. 7.

There will be plenty of opportunities this week with a pair of in-state matchups. Iowa State hosts No. 11 Iowa on Dec. 10 and Northern Iowa on Dec. 14.
The week begins with Iowa State 10-0 for the first time since the 2013-14 season when the Cyclones opened the year with 14 straight victories.
