The North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program is getting a big boost to their lineup for Saturday’s game against Ohio State in Atlanta.
Guard Seth Trimble is expected to make his return to the team after missing time with a forearm injury early in November. Jeff Goodman reported the news on Friday, just 24 hours until tipoff with the Buckeyes in the CBS Sports Classic.

Trimble suffered a forearm injury in a weight room accident in November and has missed nine games for the Tar Heels. But now, the talented senior guard is back and it’s just at the right time for UNC.
The guard is known for his defense on the perimeter, adding a key element for the Tar Heels as they get set to enter Atlantic Coast Conference Play in a few weeks. On the offensive end, he’s averaging 14.5 points, 5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 44 percent from the field in two games.
