Indiana defeated Dallas 88-78, advancing to 16-12 on the season.
The Fever were playing without WNBA star Caitlin Clark, who has been sidelined for quite some time due to injury, but they were still able to obtain great performances from Kelsey Mitchell.
After the game, Wings’ coach Chris Koclanes spoke on the impact of Mitchell. Koclanes explained that Mitchell is a “nightmare,” given her impact on the offensive end of the floor.
“When you have someone like Kelsey Mitchell, she’s just a nightmare… She’s tough,” Koclanes said. “She just plays with such a good change of pace. She’s difficult to keep from getting to her spots. We have to learn…and try and be able to distrust offenses.”

Mitchell finished the win over the Dallas Wings with 23 points, three rebounds and three assists. Mitchell has been carrying the load while Caitlin Clark has been out of the lineup.
The 29-year-old guard is currently playing in her eighth season in the WNBA, having been with the Indiana Fever her entire career.
While the season is far from over, Mitchell is set to post career numbers. She’s leading the Fever with 19.9 points per game and has also averaged 1.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
