Josh Hazlewood shone in the first innings of the match as he dismantled the Indian batting unit, while Abhishek Sharma was the lone warrior for the visitors as he blasted an epic fifty to power India to 125.

Defending the target, Indian bowlers tried their best and took the match as deep as they could. Even pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah produced magical wickets during the fag end of the innings, but Australia finished off the run-chase with 40 balls remaining and won the game by 4 wickets.

Australia have taken a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series with three matches remaining. The next game between the Indian team and the Aussies will be hosted by Bellerive Oval in Hobart on Sunday, November 2.
