Michigan State football has reportedly re-offered a big-time in-state prospect in the 2027 class.

Don Spillers of Detroit has reportedly been re-offered by the Spartans, according to 247Sports’ Corey Robinson. Spillers — who stars as a wide receiver for Martin Luther King High — was initially offered by Michigan State in June, and has now picked up an offer from the new Spartans coaching staff.

Spillers is currently unranked on 247Sports, but has received a number of big-time offers. He holds offers from Michigan, Maryland, Illinois, Pitt, Bowling Green, Miami (OH), Southern Miss, Toledo, UMass and Western Michigan.

Spillers is part of a group of in-state prospects that have been re-offered by the new Michigan State coaching staff over the past few days. It’s becoming clear that head coach Pat Fitzgerald and his staff are starting to hit the recruiting trail for the 2027 class.
