When people hear that I work for MyGolfSpy, they always say how cool it must be to work in golf and be a literal insider. I’ll be honest with you: it really is. It’s fascinating getting to hear industry news first and see new clubs up close. That being said, I think the coolest part of this job is getting to know real golfers and the things that make them tick— their preferences, equipment choices, and how they approach the game. This is the first of an ongoing series highlighting what MyGolfSpy readers bought over the past week and how they might help your game. Without further ado, welcome to the first edition of SpyCart Weekly.
MacGregor MACSPD Irons
This week, readers really gravitated toward the MacGregor MACSPD Irons. I’ve played them before, and for game improvement irons, these things are about as solid as they come. For whatever reason, they strike me as looking a lot like the PING i525 and to a lesser extent, the Blueprint T— which, in my opinion, are the best looking irons ever. The MACSPDs are some of the most forgiving irons I’ve ever hit and can really help you get the ball in the air if you have difficulties with flighting. For less than $500, this is really solid value and performance, and I see why they’re a popular choice. For the majority of casual players, they will make the game a lot more fun.
Wilson Infinite Buckingham Putter

The one that always gets away and somehow comes back… The Wilson Infinite Buckingham is still one of the biggest movers in the game. Performance, value, looks— it’s really tough to ask for much more, and that’s why it was our top-rated mallet of 2025. This continues to be popular with readers and golfers across the board, and it’s easy to see why.
Vessel Player V Pro Stand Bag

I hate to be a broken record, but you guys know how we feel about Vessel. It’s really tough to argue for any other brand to come close to capturing their throne as the king of premium bags. This week, the Player V Pro Stand Bag was a top choice amongst readers, and that’s probably due to the fact that it’s nearly $100 off right now. Even though there’s snow on the ground here in Pennsylvania and the season is effectively over, the best time for golf discounts is the end of the year, and we’re here. Spring is right around the corner, and if you’ve been eyeing a Vessel, now’s the time to get one.
goodr Sunglasses

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: a good pair of sunglasses is foundational for everyone’s wardrobe. goodr was the choice of eyewear for MyGolfSpy readers this past week, and once again, I see why. Polarized, near-invincible sunglasses for less than $40 is tough to beat.
Heathlander Golf Shoes

I’ll just say it: Heathlander Golf Shoes are hot right now. Barba loves ’em, we love ’em, you love ’em. This is unofficially, officially in the running for shoe of the year. One thing’s for certain though: this was overwhelmingly the shoe of the week.
PXG GEN7 Irons

Our readers have good taste. Period. The PXG GEN 7 Irons look incredible, and it’s clear we’ve got some distance hunters shopping right now. In our 2025 testing, the GEN7s were praised for their distance, and ranked our longest game-improvement iron of the year. As the new season comes into the slightest view, if you’re looking for improved distance with your irons, listen to your peers and get the PXG GEN7s. Oh yeah, they’re also on sale for $280 off.
Alphard Cybercart

Another MyGolfSpy favorite coming in hot. Our top-ranked electric pushcart of 2025, the Alphard Cybercart continues to be an aide-de-camp to walking golfers everywhere. This was on sale during Cyber Week, and if you’re still looking to save this holiday season, I’ve got good news: it’s still on sale.
TaylorMade Qi10 Driver

Our readers are smart people. They understand that just because OEMs come out with a new driver every year, it doesn’t automatically mean that the latest is the greatest. I can’t think of something that encapsulates this better than the TaylorMade Qi10 Driver. Let’s be honest, even a lot of TaylorMade tour pros (Scottie, Rory, we’re looking at you) were still using the Qi10 line this year as opposed to Qi35. And with it discounted by $200 right now, our readers know a good driver and a good deal when they see one.
PXG Lightning Fairway Woods

Speaking of the latest and greatest, the brand new PXG Lightning Fairway Woods have struck a chord in the industry and with everyday golfers alike. The hype around these can’t be understated, and there are lots of folks out there who are ready to get this thing on the course.
Bruce Bolt Golf Gloves

If you haven’t heard us talk about Bruce Bolt gloves, here’s your chance. They’ve been gaining momentum amongst you guys like hot cakes. It’s high time that golf gloves got cool, and Bruce Bolt has definitely taken us there. This is also the first time we’ve seen them on sale, too. Through December 14th, they’re 15% off (discount auto applied).
