Stanford Sweeps Events on Senior Day Win Over San Jose State

The Stanford women’s swimming and diving team defeated San Jose State 210-64 on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Stanford celebrated senior day, where the Cardinal celebrated its 10 graduates – Lucy Bell, Jamie Brennan, Sophie Duncan, Charlotte Hook, Torri Huske, Gigi Johnson, Natalie Mannion, Kirsti McEnroe, Emilie Moore and Kayla Wilson.

Johnson, Ella Jablonski, Annam Olasewereand Levenia Sim led off the meet with a win in the 200-yard medley relay (1:39.62).

Huske won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.85, going 1-2 with Hook (1:01.27).

Johnson won the 100 IM in 54.42 and 100 free in 48.51. Bell won the 200 fly in 1:54.03 and 100 fly (51.48) ahead of Hook (53.45). Jablonski won the 200 IM in 1:58.76.

Stanford’s Addie Sauickie won the 200 freestyle in 1:46.47. Anna Berlin won the 100 back in 52.60. Emily Thompson claimed victory in the 50 free (22.70) just ahead of teammate Caroline Bricker (22.93), and also won the 200 breast (2:13.09). Bricker won the 200 backstroke in 1:54.46 ahead of Huske (1:55.51) and Wilson (1:55.99).

Thompson, Kirsti McEnroe, Huske and Natalie Mannion won the 200 free relay in 1:29.36.

Stanford diver Emilie Moore won the 1-meter springboard event with a point total of 306.75. Ellie Cole won 3-meter with a score of 305.55.
