The Golden State Valkyries are looking to get back to winning ways on Saturday as they host the Los Angeles in a home game at Chase Center. The Valkyries are coming off back-to-back losses and are hoping to get a much-needed victory against Cameron Brink and Co.

Golden State got a very special guest for Saturday’s contest. This came in the form of Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry, who brought along his lovely wife, Ayesha Curry, with him to support the Valkyries.

The WNBA took to social media to share a video of the Currys taking in the action at Ballhalla.

“STEPH AND AYESHA CURRY IN THE BUILDING FOR THE WEST COAST CLASH!” the league posted on X.

This is Curry delivering on his promise to support the Valkyries. During his exit interview for the 2024-25 NBA season, the former back-to-back MVP said that he plans to attend “as many games as possible.” He isn’t exactly present for each and every game, but there’s no denying that his presence for Saturday’s matchup goes a long way.

The Valkyries, who are playing in their inaugural WNBA season, are currently fighting for a berth in the postseason. They entered Saturday’s contest with a 14-15 record, and as of writing, currently occupy the eighth and final playoff spot in the league. However, they are also tied with the Los Angeles Sparks, who, for their part, have won three in a row.
