The December 29 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. They wanted to close out the year with a big title match, and that certainly went down this week.
Stephanie Vaquer has been a fighting champion, but she faced quite a test in the final RAW of this year. She put her Women’s World Championship on the line against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez in a triple threat match.
Prior to the match, Raquel Rodriguez told her Judgment Day sisters, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, not to interfere in her match. She wanted to do it on her on. On the other hand, Nikki Bella trained with Natalya in her dungeon to prepare for this big title contest.
This match had a big fight feel thanks to Alicia Taylor’s ring introductions. 13,611 fans packed the sold-out arena for this match, and it got started with the three competitors in a shoving match to gain an early advantage.
This match was a hard-hitting encounter, and everyone fought hard to get an advantage. They battled through a commercial break, and a Devil’s Kiss from Vaquer was also broken up, which really upset the Orlando fans.
After the match came back from its second commercial break, fans were at a fever pitch. Nikki Bella got a near fall, but she didn’t give up after that. The three competitors traded near falls after that, especially after Vaquer hit an alternative angel’s wings move on Bella.
After pulling Vaquer out of the ring, Bella tried to steal a pinfall. Then Raquel picked up both Vaquer and Bella before slamming only one of them down. Then Vaquer was able to throw Raquel out of the ring and get the pinfall on Nikki Bella at the last second in a real nail-biter of an ending.
