โThis is an awesome group of young men that I am very proud of, and they are very deserving of these awards,โ veteran Stratford football coach Michael Blackburn said. โThey are a part of a group of seniors that have been great leaders on and off the field and have set a good example to follow for other students on how they play โ but more importantly, on how they act and carry themselves each day off the field. They will be greatly missed.โ
LINCOLN HALL
Hallโs senior season was cut short by injury midway through the year, but his impact was still recognized by district coaches.
โLincolnโs season was cut short by injury at the halfway point, and even though he played quarterback and not running back, the other district coaches felt like he was a great running threat and wanted to honor him with this award,โ Blackburn said.
