Striper Cup Week 12 Recap

Peak Tides and Structure Produce

Week 12 of the Striper Cup delivered strong action for anglers who timed their trips with moving water. The mid-moon phase created steady current, pushing bait tight to rips, rocky ledges, and channel edges. Diamond jigs, flutter spoons, and soft-plastic eels proved highly effective during fast-moving tides, while live eels and bunker chunks were the go-to presentations when the current slowed. Depths of 25–40 feet produced many of the week’s best catches, and night tides offered the best shot at larger stripers.

With PENN’s Week 13 prize lineup on deck, every fish checked in could earn an angler a premium reel or combo. If you haven’t joined yet, now’s the time to get in on the action.
