There’s no denying three-time WNBA champion Candace Parker is one of the greatest to ever play. The likely Hall of Famer established herself as a pillar of the sport during her decorated WNBA career, which included, among other things, two MVP titles, seven All-Star appearances, two All-Defensive selections, 10 All-WNBA nods, a Defensive Player of the Year win and a Rookie of the Year trophy.

Parker was also named one of the WNBA’s Top 20 and Top 25 Players of All Time. To honor everything she achieved for the franchise, the Los Angeles Sparks retired her No. 3 jersey last June. The Chicago Sky will do the same on Aug. 25.

Candace Parker, The Boy Mom

Apart from being a WNBA legend, Parker is also a dedicated family woman.

Parker, 39, is married to former teammate Anna Petrakova. They tied the knot in December 2019, which is seven years after they met when Parker suited up for UMMC Ekaterinburg in Petrakova’s home country of Russia during the WNBA offseason.

The couple have two sons together. Airr Larry was born in February 2022. They welcomed Hartt Summitt to the world in May last year. Parker also has a daughter, Lailaa, 16, from a previous relationship.

On Tuesday, Parker took to social media to share her journey as a mom to two beautiful young boys. She admitted it hasn’t been a breeze, but she’s loving every second.

“In my BOY MOM ERA. Pray for all the boy moms out there! Our days are filled with energy, timeouts, tears, hugs, kisses, tantrums, giggles, wrestling…. BUT LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE!” she posted on Instagram.
