On February 15 (Sunday), the celebration took a halt at the R. Premadasa Stadium because of an animated conversation involving Kuldeep Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and India captain Suryakumar Yadav. Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh were also in the frame.

Against India’s first innings of 175, Pakistan managed to gather only 114 runs for ten wickets in 18 overs. The innings could spread thinner if Kuldeep Yadav were able to successfully grab the ball. Shaheen Afridi swung his bat against Hardik Pandya on the second ball of the 18th over. The ball travelled towards Yadav, posting at the long-on. Kuldeep had to cover some ground to position himself on the line of the travelling ball.
Yadav made every effort to complete the catch but failed to complete the process, as the ball slipped through his fingers and dropped on the cushion of the boundary rope. Pandya was furious about the incident. Though, he managed to get the remaining wicket in the very last ball of the over.
After the match, a video attracted cricket fans’ attention on social media platforms. The video captured the moment when Pandya was animated with Yadav. Suryakumar Yadav was also involved in the chat. After a while, star batter Rinku Singh stepped in to cool down the situation.
