College basketball practices officially started on Monday and we are slowly getting more Syracuse Orange schedule news.
ESPN has released the times and networks for the ACC/SEC Men’s and Women’s Challenge. The Syracuse men will kick things off on Tuesday December 2nd when the Tennessee Volunteers visit the JMA Dome. This game will tip-off at 7:00 ESPN2. It’s a rematch of last season’s 96-70 win by the Volunteers in Knoxville and we’re hoping for a much better result this time around.

While practices just began, we are keeping an eye on an early injury for guard JJ Starling, who was spotted with a splint on his right hand. There is no word on the extent of the injury, so we don’t know if Starling will be ready in a month when the Orange head to Buffalo for their first exhibition game.
The Syracuse women will host the Auburn Tigers on Wednesday December 3rd. That game has a 5:00 tip-off and will be shown on ACC Network. Last season, Syracuse lost 57-45 on the road at Texas A&M. Felisha Legette-Jack has named her captains for the 25-26 season: Sophie Burrows and transfers Laila Phelia and Domonique Darius.
