Syracuse women’s basketball releases 2025-26 schedule

by

Syracuse women’s basketball announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season, in conjunction with the reveal of the ACC conference schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

After a 12-18 campaign last year that included four home losses before the New Year for the first time in over 30 years, the Orange will play nine of its eleven non-conference games inside the JMA Wireless Dome.

Like last season, Syracuse opens up the season at home on Tuesday night after the men’s team opens on Monday. The opponent will be Stony Brook, followed by three more New York-based mid-major programs in the ensuing two weeks. That includes UAlbany, who defeated SU inside the Dome last season.

The only non-conference games for Syracuse outside of the 315 are neutral site games against Utah and Michigan on Friday, November 21 and Sunday, November 23 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Those games are part of the Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase, a four-team, two-game event with pre-determined matchups. The fourth team in the event is UConn.

Syracuse plays four more mid-major opponents after returning from Connecticut – Howard, Colgate, Binghamton, and Mercyhurst – surrounding the SEC/ACC Challenge game against Auburn at the Dome, and the early ACC opener against SMU in Dallas.

The first home game of ACC play is against Duke on Sunday, December 28. SU’s home-and-home opponent in the ACC is Boston College, with the away game coming on February 5, and the home game marking Senior Day on March 1.

Syracuse travels to SMU, Wake Forest, Virginia, North Carolina, Miami, Pittsburgh, NC State, and Notre Dame in addition to BC, while hosting Duke, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Cal, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Louisville, and Clemson.

The Orange also have an exhibition game against Daemen scheduled for October 28, which will be our first chance to see the retooled team in 2025-26. Syracuse didn’t lose any players to the transfer portal, but lost five of its top seven scorers to graduation.
