Eddie Kingston is stepping back into tag team territory — and he’s bringing Ortiz with him.
AEW officially announced that Kingston and Ortiz will reunite on the January 17 episode of AEW Collision: Maximum Carnage, where they’ll go head-to-head with the Grizzled Young Veterans.
The announcement comes after Ortiz made his return during AEW Worlds End: Zero Hour, saving Kingston from a post-match attack by the Grizzled Young Veterans after his hard-fought win over Zack Gibson. This week’s Collision featured a heated segment between the two sides, setting the stage for a long-awaited tag team showdown.
This will be the first time Kingston and Ortiz team together on AEW television since their real-life fallout in 2022. While they’ve had a tense history both on and off-screen, AEW’s latest move suggests a new chapter is being written — starting with payback.
