Tennessee basketball target, New York four-star guard announces commitment date

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2026 basketball signing class.

Four-star shooting guard Jasiah Jervis will announce his college commitment on Nov. 5, according to Joe Tipton of On3. He will decide between Tennessee, Pittsburgh, North Carolina State, Michigan State and Illinois.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound prospect is from Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 2 shooting guard in the class and No. 2 player in New York.

Tennessee offered Jervis a scholarship on July 14. He will officially visit Tennessee on Oct. 24, ahead of the Vols hosting Duke for an exhibition basketball game on Oct. 26.

St. Louis was the first school to offer Jervis a scholarship on Jan. 14, 2024. Other Power Five schools to offer him scholarships include St. John’s, Wake Forest, Stanford, Rutgers, Northwestern, Virginia Tech, Villanova, Texas, Michigan, Florida, Cincinnati and Oregon.

Tennessee has three commitments in its 2026 basketball recruiting class: small forward Ralph Scott, power forward Manny Green and point guard Marquis Clark.
